<aside> <img src="/icons/preview_gray.svg" alt="/icons/preview_gray.svg" width="40px" /> While Colonial's marketing expertise encompasses a wide range of multimedia disciplines such as website content creation, direct mail campaigns, and print advertising, their creative forte lies in the production of broadcast television commercials, with some clients necessitating the creation of fresh content on a monthly basis. In the galleries below I’ll include full YouTube playlists for several clients, though my involvement in those playlists spans from November 2014 to May of 2019. While many of the broadcast spots produced were standard 30-second ads, the availability of specially offered break lengths on local news affiliates allowed for variations ranging from 4 to 15 seconds in duration. Though not given full creative control, my contributions typically consisted of creating, or assisting with the creation, of scripts following the account manager’s direction, choosing appropriate footage, creating graphics to be used in post-production, as well as a final set of eyes for QA purposes, and then finally sending traffic instructions the various network and cable television account executives.
